My family has been part of Waco since the 1880s. Before founding Sorrells & Co. in 1998, I worked in real estate and development, learning firsthand what lasts, what fails, and why long-term thinking matters long after a build is complete. That’s why we specify proven materials, high-performance windows, advanced insulation, efficient HVAC systems, and fresh air exchange not as trends, but as practical choices that create homes that are healthier, quieter, and more comfortable over time.

 

This work is deeply personal for me. My family has lived in the homes and neighborhoods we’ve built. We’ve raised our kids in them. That responsibility shows up in our high standards and the way we interact with our clients, contractors and our team. We don’t chase buzzwords or shortcuts. We build homes that are solid, balanced, and thoughtfully composed—art you can live in—and nothing matters more to me than knowing those homes continue to serve the families inside them long after the keys are handed over.
